Welcome to Apple C.I.D.E.R.'s Mac OS X Page.
Apple CIDER began the Mac OS X Special Interest Group in early 1997 it features in-depth discussion on various topics relating to Mac OS X. The group is more a discussion atmosphere then the Q&A and/or lecture atmosphere of the general and SIG meetings. Often a focus on technical details and the UNIX underpinnings of Mac OS X, but this is mainly due to the audience that regularly shows up - all comers and discussion topics are welcome. If you want to know how to do anything in Mac OS X and aren't afraid of getting your hands dirty (or even if you are), then this is the meeting for you.
Who comes: Members of the group are Mac enthusiasts from novices to Macintosh software developers.
When: Meeting times vary thruout the year, if you are interested,

Go to: CiderMacOSXSig
1250 Scottsville Road, Suite 2, Rochester, NY. It's on the back
side of the airport. Get off 390 at Scottsville Road, go toward RIT
(SouthWest). Pass the Burger King and an adjacent office building. On
the left past a Mobil gas station/car wash is a strip plaza with
Golds gym in it. That's 1250. Go in the center doors, we are the 3rd
door on the right. Lights will be on inside if we are there. Ring the
bell as well as knock.
